DuraTech Spark Arrestor 5" to 8"

Add the DuraTech Spark Arrestor to your DuraTech Chimney Cap to have a smaller 1/2" mesh on the chimney cap. The finer mesh will prevent larger embers from leaving the chimney which helps prevent against wild fires. In some areas and jurisdictions a 1/2" mesh Spark Arrestor is required. The mesh easily installs inside the chimney cap by removing the lid and placing the mesh inside the cap.

Note: Check with your local building official to find out if the 1/2" mesh is required in your area.
