The DuraVent Direct Vent Pro Snorkel Termination Caps are used to offset the termination cap for horizontal venting. The snorkel allows you to raise the termination cap if there is any obstruction directly in front of where the termination cap would be for a horizontal vent. The snorkel is also helpful when the vent length is really short and you need to increase the height of the vent to meet the stove or fireplace manufacturer's minimum vent heights
The snorkel termination cap is available for 4" x 6 5/8" and 5" x 8" direct vent pipe and comes in 14" and 36" heights. The snorkel must maintain a 12" clearance from the ground outside.
Note: The snorkel cap must not be enclosed in a wall or installed below grade.
